If you have a Plus Photobucket account and you are no longer interested in using it, then follow the steps below to get rid of it.

However, it’s important you note that you must first cancel your Photobucket subscription.

Once you are able to cancel your Photobucket subscription, your Photobucket account reverts from Plus to Free.

How To Cancel Photobucket Subscriptions

Canceling your Photobucket subscription depends on the medium through which you are paying for your subscription.

If you paid using PayPal;

Step 1: Log in to your PayPal account.

Step 2: Click the “Gear” icon located in the top-right corner.

Step 3: Scroll down and under the Payment, Settings heading, select “Preapproved payments”. 

Step 4: Click your Photobucket subscription on the list of pre-approved payments.

Step 5: Click the “Cancel” link located next to the Status heading. 

Step 6: Select “Yes” when asked to confirm that you want to cancel recurring payments to the selected recipient.

If you paid using credit card;

Send an email to [email protected] to request the manual cancellation of your account.

Finally, please note that it can take up to seven days from the time you submitted your account for it to be completely deleted.

However, if you change your mind within 48 hours of submitting your request, you still have the opportunity to log back in and your account will be reactivated automatically.
