Apple has officially made the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones available to purchase. Both features a water-resistant body, a new force-touch home button, a cutting edge A10 Fusion chip, a longer battery life, doubled storage and the elimination of the headphone jack.

Even though the iPhone 7 does not have significant changes, it’s still an attractive phone because its size is more manageable. However, if you are really looking for a more high-end smartphone, the larger iPhone 7 Plus should be your choice. It has a new design with dual-lens cameras, 1 wide-angle and one telephoto lens. Besides, you will have to choose among color options such as Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Jet Black and (PRODUCT) RED special edition.

That’s not the only choice you have to make. Just like previous years, there are some different versions released for different carriers and countries around the world. Therefore, before ordering online or hitting the shops, you should check them out carefully, or your phone might not function properly.

Since Apple uses modem chips in both different manufacturers, which are Intel and Qualcomm, some of the models can’t perform well on a particular carrier network. Notice that the difference between the Intel and Qualcomm modem is rather significant.

You can quickly check which one you get by looking at the box or the back of your iPhone. There are some notable changes as compared to model numbers released for iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Unfortunately, none of them covers the new LTE band 66 (AWS-3) used by Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
